Psychotherapy!
Thank you for your patience while we update our website.
I'm so glad you're here!
Whether you're navigating a neurodiverse relationship or simply seeking a space to feel understood—you’ve found a place where you don’t have to mask or explain your existence.
At Hope Garden Psychotherapy, I offer affirming, collaborative, and strength-based therapy rooted in respect for neurodiversity and identity. As an AuDHD therapist, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to our work together. Here, your communication style, sensory needs, relationship challenges, and strengths are honored and supported. My approach also centers around dignity, clarity, and connection, helping you show up with presence and care for both yourself and those you love.

About Us
I’m Nancy Cecchine (she/her), a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT Ohio license #M.2400343) and a certified Neurodiverse Couples Therapist based in Ohio. I specialize in working with neurodiverse couples where one or both partners are autistic (suspected, self-diagnosed, diagnosed), as well as neurotypical partners.
As an AuDHD therapist, I bring both lived and professional experience to my work. I know what it’s like to feel out of sync with the world, to mask in relationships, and to search for support that truly “gets it.” I created Hope Garden Psychotherapy to be that space—for clients to feel seen, affirmed, and understood without having to explain or shrink who they are.
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a bachelor's degree in Portuguese (Brazil). Sessions are held in English, however, Portuguese may be intertwined. I’m Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method and integrate a variety of systemic approaches including the Myhill/Jekel Neurodiverse Couples Model, sensate focus, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and structural family therapy to name a few.
My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in a deep respect for neurodiversity, trauma history, identity, and lived experience. Therapy with me is about co-creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your identity, improve your relationships, and reconnect with your truth.

Couples Therapy
I specialize in working with neurodiverse couples, including relationships where one or both partners are autistic. I support partners in improving communication, deepening connection, navigating sensory and sexual differences, and building mutual understanding. Neurotypical partners are welcome on their own, too!
Premarital & Relationship Support
I offer therapy for couples at any stage—dating, committed, or married—who are looking to build emotional intimacy, address recurring conflict, or prepare for life transitions together.
Sex Therapy (Sensate Focus-based)
Using a gentle, non-pathologizing approach, I help individuals and couples explore physical and emotional intimacy, desire differences, and sensory dynamics.
